In 1969, Barry Caren, founder and president of Magnadyne, had a vision to spearhead a specialized automotive electronics business that would make the entire automotive electronics industry (audio and security) more attractive and practical. Barry realized that companies were providing audio and security products that did not cover all the bases. His vision was to stay well ahead of other manufacturers by engineering an array of products that install quickly and easily, while delivering premier performance and reliability.


Our corporate office and distribution facility is located in Los Angeles, California, with additional facilities in Elkhart, Indiana, now encompassing more than 200,000 square feet. Our offices in the Orient are located in Hong Kong, China, and Taipei, Taiwan. At these locations, Magnadyne employees oversee all purchasing, production and engineering functions.

Magnadyne's aftermarket products are not only recognized for their convenience and ease of installation, but also for their profitability and outstanding performance and reliability.

Wireless Division
Magnadyne is a leading manufacturer of many specialty and proprietary products for the wireless industry. Our product offerings consist of hands-free kits and telematic products, holsters, face plates, universal mounts and holders, adapters, CLA's, travel chargers, batteries, ear buds and data cables. Magnadyne factories are vertically integrated to provide quicker new product development along with consistent and timely delivery. We offer both branded and private label products to virtually every major wireless carrier in the industry. Additionally, we provide private label product to other wireless suppliers per their custom specifications.

OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers)
Our OEM division is devoted to supplying OEM parts to the heavy-duty truck industry. These products are designed specifically for heavy-duty truck manufacturers, heavy-duty equipment suppliers, industrial equipment manufacturers and the agricultural industry. Our customers include Freightliner Corporation, Paccar Inc., Kenworth Trucks, Peterbilt Trucks, Thomas Built Bus, International Truck and Engine Corp. and Mack Trucks Inc. Our product offerings include AM/FM stereo CD entertainment centers, speakers, in-dash indicating lights, antenna systems, data cables, keyless entry, security systems and video systems.

RV / Marine Division
Our RV / Marine division is responsible for products designed specifically for recreational vehicles, mobile homes and boat manufacturers. Products include wall mount stereo / video systems complete with CD, DVD and cassette, in addition to Surround Sound home theater systems. Our customers include Winnebago, Fleetwood Enterprises, Skyline, Champion Homes and Monaco Motor Homes, to name just a few.

New Car Dealer Division
Magnadyne is one of the nation's leading suppliers of keyless entry and vehicle security systems to the new car trade, including the nationally known Silencer brand. MovieVision, Magnadyne's mobile video system, is marketed to new car dealers wishing to capitalize on the flurry of interest in video for luxury vehicles.
